You sit and wait for something to happen
And when it does, you consider it just an irrelevant thought.
Going back to where you started from
Not knowing what tot expect,
but knowing that there might never be more than this
Time slips away, while the day goes by
And you wonder about what moved you to be here, sitting motionless, silently
Is this all there is to it, is this all that there will ever be,
Or is it a promise, a ticket to heaven, and are we just on our way back home
We sleep during the day and we dream in the night,
Hoping to awake one day and to be aware,
Aware of our connection
Acceptance of what we are or nothing at all....
